Abstract: This study of a biogas digester adapted to the climate of the Boeny region of Madagascar serves to analyze the feasibility of converting organic matter into biogas. It describes and analyzes the operation of digesters according to the types of waste available. The results show significant economic and environmental benefits for local communities. This article also offers recommendations for optimizing these systems, emphasizing the importance of their integration into sustainable development initiatives in this region. This research aims to manage and recover organic waste in order to protect the environment from pollu-tion and reduce deforestation. We chose to build a fixed-dome digester for its durability. The study shows the effectiveness of this type depending on the region’s climate. The production is approximately 0.032 cubic meters of gas per 1 kg of organic waste. The manufacturing cost of this digester is approximately $48.
